For Just a Few Minutes It Looked Like Niagara Falls!

Only moments ago I heard the throb of thunder.  I suspected precipitation soon to follow.  Then . . . It Looked Like Niagara Falls outside.  I checked the rain gauge.  Within 10 to 15 minutes we had .5 inches of rain!  And coincidentally the temperature dropped as well from 83 to 73 degrees in about the same time period.

It has slacked off pretty much now.  I'm not sure if more will follow, but we'll take it!  (Ha!  What choice do we have???)

Nonetheless, I'm so grateful for the rain!!!  Hooray!  And I'm so grateful for the cooler temperature, too!

How's your weather where you're located?  Share how quickly it's changed, or how long you've been blessed/endured whatever circumstances you've had placed on your plate!

It's way too hot for late September here in Middle TN, hovering in the mid-90s this week. We are supposed, mercifully, have a cold spell come in tonight and change things. I am thankful!

Yes! I'm waiting for ours, too! They're hinting that it might be Monday night/morning? I'll certainly enjoy a more autumnal weather pattern!

Still and all, even though this summer was one of the hottest I can remember, somehow, with seriously minimal watering by hose, sprinkler, our grass has been far greener than I would have expected from such sustained and intense heat! So thankful, too!

We are on school holidays and we are also trying to build our house. And it's been raining for a week and will keep on raining all the next...sigh...but I do love the rain...mostly.

Today it has dawned gorgeously clear and sunny - after a week of grey skies and rain, it is truly a blessing.

I have a date with the laundry!!

I've had a date with the laundry for several days now. I just don't know if it's working out though. It keeps building up; I have high expectations and then . . . well, it is an inevitable cycle. Speaking of which, I need to switch loads out. Again. Have fun with yours flapping merrily in the clear air and soaking up all that wonderful sunshiny goodness and fragrance! I have about 30 to 40 pounds of it to hang (on hangers) and fold. **Sigh** It will always be thus. **Smile**
